Vie en Rose is a “tiny” Pico 8 prototype that I’ve submitted for the GameDev Insiders - Tiny Game Jam (December 2025)! This project is actually my first solo submission to a game jam ever! 

The RULES are simple: 

-You’re a scared lil smiley stuck in a graveyard. When the screen is black and grey, you’re not able to move … BUT when you swap to the “Rose World” using your rose-colored glasses - your fear is gone and you can now move with ease! 

-Your goal is to traverse through the Rose World before the time runs out to collect trophies in each level. However, you’ll also need to navigate between invisible pathways, with trial and error, to get to each exit. 

-If you run out of time in the Rose World before getting a trophy, you’re sent back to the start of the level. Beat all four levels to win the game! 

CONTROLS: 

-Left Stick / Arrow Keys to Move 

-X Key / A Button to Switch between Normal & Rose World

-More levels

-Speedrun timer

-Music! 

-Other color “World” switching mechanics
